Do City Deserve Champions League ?

I'll go as far as saying we could get to the final first attempt, we're hard to score against and strong at home.
We've hardly been outclassed vs a team heading to the CL final and our team will be better next season without additions to the squad.

Cheer up and enjoy the good football and F.A cup final!

p.s Spuds are weak compared to us and they managed to beat some good sides.

Well we have played the same number of games and are 7 points above them so quite simply yes

Only the top 3 get into the Champions League proper. 4th gets a play off place to qualify. We've made a few mistakes this season and the attitude hasn't always been right, but I'd say we deserve 4th place and the shot at the Champions League that comes with it. Vital that we take it.

First of all hope we qualify . then let us buy more quality players because if we dont improve we will be embaresed .then let ticket prices be realistic so we can get full houses

So we should spend another load of money on improving the squad, then drop the prices so we can get a full house??

Manchester City Football Club is a business, and it seems finally we are being run like one, just because our owner is rich doesn't mean he should subsidise our tickets.

The club needs to improve revenue etc, especially with the FFPR coming in, will it cost us more? yes! Are we getting to watch a better quality of player? yes! Are we watching a more successful team? yes!

They are putting their hands in their pockets to fund a fantastic team/squad and club for us to watch, should we expect them to do this AND give us cheap tickets too? We should charge the same prices as other champions league teams, that's the going rate, and is what we should expect to pay if we are getting the privilege of watching us compete at the highest level.

Success will come at a higher price for us all and anyone who believed different must be very naive.

And of course we deserve it, barely out of the top 3/4 all season and finally gaining a little consistency.

Blue, I think you are getting a tad over-excited. We won't get near the final. We are likely to be third seed in our group, if we finish 4th and get through the qualifier. Thus we could end up with Teams like Barca and Lyon in our group.

We simply don't have the experience as a team of playing in the CL. United and Liverpool are like machines in Europe. Even when they are not at their best they manage to grind out results on a regular basis. We are nowhere near at the moment. As for Spurs, they played well in Europe. It's clear that City fans don't like Spurs but we should give credit where it is due.
