Just a question to our foreign based City fans..

Do you get the hatred we have for the rags?

Obviously you are not as exposed as we are in Manchester/Uk to rags in the flesh..so maybe the rivalry doesn't impact on you as much?

TBH 'foreign' should apply to anyone outside of the confines of Manchester!

I dunno..I'd say London based blues are even more exposed to rags than we are!

Hi - IBH

They have a poll going on mancityfans about who is hated more - rags, spurs, both equally etc.

WTF??? I cannot believe that only 80% have voted rags!!

My response was what I expect the vast majority of CITY fans to feel:

"The scum, jointly with

that foul arrogant twat of a manager of theirs, tied with

their fucking pig-shit arrogant know-nothing wanker fans

just ahead of their crawling sycophantic press and the toadying officials of the FA, PL and referees!

Living abroad, every rag you meet is a plastic. My hatred for the scum and their manager is still there, but I've mellowed somewhat with the plastics, and now just think, poor, sad, deluded f*cker. They can mock all they like, but they can never take away where I come from. City by birthright!

That is not exactly true, We have our fair share of foreign united fans too on our hands.

So yes we understand

EVERY football club needs foreign fans. The more fans, the higher the demand for coverage and merchandise and the more exposure the football club recieves. If we want to be a 'big' club we will have to accept this. So i think we should really stop with the whole plastics stuff, because when/if we win the league and if we manage to continuously compete and win trophies, then we will have our fair share aswell. There is no point hating something which will later become pivotal in this club's success.

I have a mate who is from Nigera and he now lives and breaths City, and incidently before any of the foreign haters "not in my club start" he strated to support city before the take over.
The one thing he told me was that even when he was back in Africa he hated the rags because of his dislike of bacon face and the arragant african rags across there.
So yes I would suspect that being part of the city DNA is having a dislike and hatred for them.

Well; I'm ''foreign based'' now (to use the OP's terminology), but I was born in Manchester and spent my first 10 years on Claremont road, about 5 minutes walk from maine Road and the next 9 in Longsight. So, yes; I certainly do understand and ''get'' the hatred. I've hated them all my nearly 50 years, even when they were truly shite under the likes of O'Farrell, McGuinness and Sexton (though those periods have now been airbrushed out of their history).
