You are right with this post, but it is hard to know who to blame, players or manager or both, without inside info.

I suspect the manager has a lot to learn, but the players still the main culprits (a few notable exceptions: Ireland, Robbie, SWP.

Why play without Robbie & Ireland being at least on the bench (injuries was just an excuse for not playing them) when we needed to boost form and confidence, awesomely stupid and arrogant.

Sorry forgot to mention, substitions when they are too late to influence the game. When MH notices we are playing lazily thats the time to substitute, even if its only 10 minutes in, make the point and embarrass the lazy gits, do not wait until we have let the game slip away. Who would you bring in as a replacement ManCityFC?

I would try and get Cruyff, who nearly went in as technical director I think for Ajax this time last year, and nearly went in for the Dutch national team some years before.

Most successful Barca manager ever, and a devotee of 'total football'; would be fantastic to see what he'd do with our resources, and the way our team would be coached to play. I know he's not the perfect candidate, but who really is? He could be available, and his tactical nouse is excellent.

Failing that, I'd appraoch Rijkaard.

Jose Mourinho would be the perfect guy for Manchester City but I highly doubt he would leave just yet because he stated he would love to win the Italian league and at the moment he is in cruise control so why would he leave the Serie A in the middle of a season where he could be the winner it just wouldnt make sense.

The other 4 I wouldnt be happy with lets just steal Fabio Capello and make England crap again or steal the Russia manager Guus Hiddink would bring smiles onto my face.

It wouldnt surprise me if some Man City fans who would fancy players like Craig Bellamy wouldnt mind Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet joining has a bundled package.

Rijkaard couldn't control his Barca squad so i wouldn't want him, Schuster was awfull at Madrid so much so they got the donkey that is Ramos to replace so no thanks either, Mancini isn't exactly experianced and has only ever managed in Italy and only ever did a half decent job with a capable title winning squad... I'd question what he could do with our "squad" as it is right now.

Mourinho would interest me at the end of the season if things were really that bad... but i'm currently not one for wanting Hughes out. I'd like to see who else he can bring in this window and during the summer.

Define "really bad" for me....The Championship? Who would we attract then? Keegan? It would be too little, too late that.

I agree with all of this. But let's just wait to we are relegated then try and fix it. Why the fuck should this twat be allowed to buy his way out of trouble....it wouldn't happen anywhere else. They, like the blind lemmings on here, seem to think that he should be given the time to buy his way out of trouble. Bollocks in my opinion. Wouldn't happen at any other club. Look at the resurgence that Spurs, Southampton and even the Barcodes have had. All these managers have gone back to basics. 4-4-2, players played in the right places. It's not rocket science. They need to fuck him off.
