When Hughes was hired I was at best underwelmed. But I tried to throw myself behind him the way we should. And I stuck with that till today. Whats scaring me is he dosent seem to be able to motivate the players in any way or form. They're not scared of him nor do they seem to want to play for him. He dosent look like he's close to the team, which is widely reported. I can not see how we can have a manager at the level we aim at who can not work with his players. Its gone asfar that Id be firmly in the 'out' camp if there was anyone who seems right to replace him now, but there isnt, not yet anyway.

I was gutted when Sven went and I still think it was a huge mistake by Twatsin (-: That said I do want to support City with an open heart and I sat/stood watching my beloved team being managed by Clarke, Ball, Alison (2nd time)..........I have never joined in the Hughes Out debacle and won't...... Stability is what our club needs and I think with time he will get it right.... that said, I pine for Sven !!!!!!!! Yes bloody confused!

You forgot to mention that none of Sven's clubs ever finished below halfway in their respective league.
I liked Sven and did not think he should have been sacked: I firmly believe that problems between Frank and Sven impacted adversely on the second half of last season. However, he's gone and that's that.
I want Hughes to do well and I think he will do much better given time but no idea now if he will make us trophy winners. I am confident that with ADUG's money Sven would have been capable of adding another double to his list. I don't think Hughes has done a good enough job yet but hopefully he will get enough new players in to allow him to make things work his way.

No, I remember how successfull Sven was with a over-hyped England team. What he acheived was the best that group of players will internationally. And Im not a 'fucking swede', Im english.

I wasn't overjoyed when hughes got the job but thought he'd do a decent job with the resources available at the time, the more I see of our performances the less I'm convinced he has any ability at the highest level. We've spent around £70-80m and we're in a relegation battle, imagine if ADUG hadn't come in - scary!

We finished 9th because of the remarkable start we had. Once the rest of the team got wise to how we played we were a shit unbalanced team for 5 months, nothing has changed, we are still unbalanced with far too many shit players.
Let hughes clear the dead wood, build his own team, THEN judge him.
