Do we actually need Tevez?

I've been away for a while and perhaps it's been discussed to death but if the rumours are true and we're in with a shout of Tevez, do we acutally want him at City?

In that I don't mean he's ex-Red but do we need that sort of player? Surely an out and out forward with a bit of height is much more important that him?

I rate him (don't like him) as a player but with SWP, Robinho sort of similar (sort of I said) we really need a proper centre foward who hangs around the box and scores ugly goals, and one bigger stronger forward.

Don't we?

he'll improve a position that is weak at the moment

and given the player already here and the ones that are likely to go we'll be buying upto 3 strikers to fill the squad

if the papers and rumour mill is correct I think we could end up buying Tevez, Eto'o and RSC as we keep Big phil, Bellers and possibly Bojinov it will us plenty of options up front

i think we'll sign another big striker leaving us with

tevez

Who realistically should that signing be? I don't think we'll get E'to and don't want Santa Cruz with his overpriced and continuing injuries.

Duck and cover.....I rate Crouch! Maybe would've been easier to get him had Pompey not found wealth. Rather Crouch over RSC
