I live alone n’all. I’ve also suffered with depression at times in my life.
It took someone to say to me what I say to other people now; don’t let depression dictate your attitude and actions to you. Fair enough, it can affect your mood, but look above the depression and see the bigger picture and realise there are positives to be had with everything.
That made me understand it better, but what changed my life the most was getting healthy. Feeding yourself with things your body and brain needs, and exercising to get rid of fat it doesn’t need, the nutrients I’m absorbing and the fitness I’ve got to has altered my brain! I now barely ever have any pessimism about anything in my life and it’s like I’ve never suffered with depression, it’s like those years battling through never happened.
