Do you have an electric bike?

I converted my own bike to this, it's absolutely brilliant but if you want something with a longer range (this will do about 28 miles on the highest peddle assist and about 12 miles on the lowest) also you can use a cheat code to do 20mph instead of 15mph (UK legal limit) also I use a thumb throttle (illegal in the UK) but I don't give a fuck.

Lambretta SX200. Now that was a scooter!
They aren't allowed on the road or the pavements are they? In fact, other than private land, where are they allowed? And it's not as if we have an abundance of cycle lanes in this country. We have tokenism at best because our politicians stink and our govt swan about in chauffeur driven, police escorted ministerial gas guzzlers. When they aren't in RAF jets. And the PM hasn't even heard of a train. So they don't need cycle lanes and we can't have nice things. But I digress.

You do...

I like cycling, but at 58, I'm past all that pedalling up hill shit. Do you have an electric bike? I just want to cycle on the flat and glide downhill but sod the uphill stuff. If you do have one, what model is it and do you recommend it or is it a bit of a novelty thing that ends up gathering rust in the shed?
Did you get one? I am after one but have no idea what to get where to start.
