8 litres, on two wheels? It must be like being fired out of a catapult. What's the top speed? How about a Dodge Viper powered 8 litre V10 motorcycle, seems a sensible option?

I bought a standard pedal bike when I retired, just for exercise. Unfortunately there is no road out of the town that doesn't have a hill to climb, all required a bit too much effort for me. On the advice of my local bike mechanic, I bought a conversion kit which he fitted. I use the power just for the hill climbs, then back to leg-power on the flat. It make a great deal of difference.Did you get one? I am after one but have no idea what to get where to start.
It's been clocked at 207 mph and rider Allen Millyard together with passenger, television presenter Henry Cole, claimed a world motorcycle speed-record for carrying a pillion, ratified by Guinness World Records at 183.50 mph.8 litres, on two wheels? I'd have thought it'd be somewhat higher, to be honest. Somewhere around 300 mph? It's been clocked at 207 mph and rider Allen Millyard together with passenger, television presenter Henry Cole, claimed a world motorcycle speed-record for carrying a pillion, ratified by Guinness World Records at 183.50 mph.
Millyard is a genius engineer, he's spent his life building wacky motorcycles.
I don't think it was actually designed to go super quick, more just, can you build a V10 motorcycle - more a vanity project than a performance build. It only has one gear, i.e. straight output from the engine to the drive chain, so essentially no gearbox.I'd have thought it'd be somewhat higher, to be honest. Somewhere around 300 mph?
