100% agree , i dont mind christmas but i hate the forced jollity and the idea that you have to be happy because its christmas, its a tough time for a lot of people and to them i send my best and hope they do as well as they can and merry christmas to all those that do enjoy it just be a bit understanding of those who are finding it hard too.

I love the idea of Christmas but not the practicalities like accommodating relatives you don't really want to know and spending money on presents they don't really want. If presents were abolished I reckon Christmas would be immeasurably improved.

I like getting the lights out and the tree, we don't have any decorations inside the house.
I enjoy buying presents for the Sally Army, I enjoy my kids coming round and having a nice meal. I enjoy getting them and the missus presents. I enjoy the works Christmas do. I enjoy the time off work.
But I don't buy into the religious stuff. I don't understand the following of a two thousand year old Harry Potter book. It is responsible for wars, terrorism, hatred, churches always wanting the old people to fund repairs to the church, yet the Church is worth billions.
I like the idea of the family coming together but as for religious.......
