Do you really believe the league is over...?

The chances of us losing the league now is about the same as us winning the league when we're 2-1 in the nintieth minute and have to win the game to pip our biggest rivals to the title.... oh, hang on a minute

The rags and dippers are the nearest challengers to us, if you look at their performace over the season bot are on track to finish on 80 points, sure both sides could put a run together but I can't see it. both have the CL to contend with if you look at their current form both have dropped points in 2 of their last 5 games. Also consider that the rags have to play us, the dippers and Arsenal in the last 10 games and they will be hard pushed to get anywhere near a challenge.

The reality is that if we win against Chelsea and Stoke we will be on 81 points and when we look back on the season we will realise that was when we actually won the league.

Agree with you, but i think the moment we won the league were those 4 straight 2-1 wins over Huddersfield, Southampton, West Ham and United. We were close to dropping points but got a maximum 12 which just killed all hope for our rivals.

If we beat Chelsea on Sunday, the league will be 100% over. After that we should concentrate only on the Champs league. THIS YEAR'S CHAMPS LEAGUE IS THE WEAKEST ONE IN MANY MANY YEARS. This is possibly the best chance for us to win it. Both Spanish giants aren't as good as they used to be, the same could be said about Bayern, PSG had big ambitions but will be knocked out, Juve probably won't go through, so basically it's a golden opportunity to win the treble in a fashionable style. I suppose we just don't believe enough that we can actually win the thing (CL I mean). But it's a lot more realistic than you think. 3-4 seasons ago winning the CL looked like an unreachable target but this year it's more real than ever before. Imagine singing "Here's to you Vincent Kompany, you've won the treble and you know" to the rags.

Couldnt agree more. Its the one song the rags are singing which pisses me off. Just stay the fuck away from our beloved captain. I just love it when we are able to turn the tables and sing their songs ironically like the "This is how it feels to be City" song.

It’s over. It’s not if we win it.. it’s when and by how much

For me it’s now about aiming to break the max points / goals scored records

If we do win it one thing is for certain I will not be traipsing down to Wembley for the Charity Shield. Crazy that that game is at Wembley.

Thanks for that insight... but when is it played?! ;)

And for me, having a pic of this on my wall growing up made me count it as a trophy so i'll be there to see us in it.

I think we will sweep everyone before us in Europe, the only banana skin being Liverpool. If they get knocked out next round I think we will win it.

Also think these 2 wins vs Arsenal will prove to be a huge point in our season as it feels like we're hitting a new stride with players coming back and finding form.
