Do you remember the first City game you ever attended.

Maybe for a good few, Man City Women was their first game?

Quite a coup that by City to get so many to that game. Need to follow this up.

Also need to sus out why so many went, who went etc. Was it new fans, or the free the 30,000 hard core. My suspicion is that it's 50% hard core, and 50% new fans who wouldn't normally go.

Marvin that’s a good point. The formation of a Women’s team was always about growing the club and opening us up to a whole new audience - young females. Personally I’m a big supporter of the women’s team - but accept that’s not a majority view. I find Women’s games very different to our first team - and it’s obviously no competition as to which I prefer but there’s a lot of positives in the Women’s game and whenever I go along I enjoy it. Another point is our home games are now getting expensive and beyond the reach of some families- the women’s games offer a really good affordable alternative.
