Do you still have as much passion?

I can see Zabaleta and Kompany certainly having kids who are City fans and coming back to the club to watch us play, if not working at the club after they retire.

I don't get to go to as many games as I used to - although I watch more of our games than ever thanks to technology - because my family comes first but I have a much passion for City as ever. I was really excited about going to another cup final and am still seething that we lost; especially the manner in which we lost.

To be fair I don't think he's going on about a Wembley FA cup final loss which we are all well and truly gutted about I think I can safely say.

Nor am I; it's just an example of how I am still as passionate as I was first time I saw as lose at Wembley in 1974.

I don't. I've got tickets for both Reading and Norwich but don't feel like going. This hasn't happened since the end of the Pearce era. Yesterday cost an absolute fortune for what was a tame and passionless display.

Ye that's the point I was getting at really, the fans seem different at matches now and even in the street. In the past when you met a City fan it was great, we'd take the piss out of the team and the club in general and it was something special, you always liked them. Now they are just boring...

I should say as well that i'm not saying I don't support City as much anymore or anything like that, of course I do, I still support them as much as ever and always will do but it's just kind of saddening when you look back a few years and compare what it's like now!

I'm not saying in any way that i'll stop supporting City or anything like that

. I just don't feel connected to the players in any way anymore, they are on a completely different planet to us as fans. Can you imagine us ever having a player like Paul Dickov, Shaun Goater or Uwe Rosler ever again? The kind of players that are now City fans, have kids who are City fans and who come back to the club at any opportunity to watch us play? I can't.

I can see where you're coming from , and I completely agree ...

football , in general , has definitely changed over the years , and supporting City certainly has too .....

and as much as i respected the likes of Goater , Dickov and Rosler , it's clear that the only way we're ever gonna win the serious prizes is by buying more players who are actually capable of winning them , as we've already done with the likes of Yaya , Aguero and Silva ..... but how many of our current crop of stars actually 'love' this club is quite another matter.

-- Sun May 12, 2013 3:09 pm --

Still have passion for the club but the club hasn't exactly helped create the passion lately when we played Utd in semi season ticket holders got to buy together last 3 times we've been solely based on cup scheme and pts levels this doesn't help in generating passion and atmosphere 12 of us yesterday scattered all around the ground in 2s and 3s suppose its more about money than passion now
