Of course ...... Still love all the bands I got into on the whole. From Sweet as a 13 year old, through Queen, Zep, Sabbath, Purple, Lizzy, Alice and Skynyrd etc. To Cheap Trick, The Cars, Straight Eight, and then the Indie bands of the 80's (when I was in my 20's) Bunnymen, New Order, The Church, Dream Syndicate, Hoodoo Gurus, Cocteaus, and Icicle Works/McNabb ..... and Prince.

The Cocteau Twins.

A magnificent band.

I was raised on Pink Floyd and they'll be my favourite forevermore. Always preferred the oldies, with heavy metal being about the only stuff I listened to while it was current (in my twenties, in the 90's) and no, I don't listen to it that much now unless I wanna go reet fast on me bike! On such an occasion there's nothing quite like a bit of Megadeth.

That is a fantastic list and I still listen to most of them and a few others you didn’t mention like King Crimsons Larks Tongue in Aspic. You could put a similar list together for 72 which still makes me believe that the early 70’s was the most productive, inventive and varied period in rock music.
