Do you support ASLEF (train drivers union) strikes?

Next strike dates have been announced:

Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway and West Midlands Trains on Friday 5th April.

Chiltern Railways, Great Western Railway, London North Eastern Railway, NorthernTrains, Transpennine Trains on Saturday 6th April.

C2C, Greater Anglia, GTR Southern/Gatwick Express, GTR Great Northern Thameslink, Southeastern, SWR Island Line, SWR Depot Drivers, SWR Mainline on Monday 8th April.
Would it be relatively safe to assume that the weekend of the FA Cup semi-final won't have any strikes, given the close proximity of these new strike dates to that weekend?

Aslef have to give a minimum of 14 days notice of intended strike action. As notice for the semifinal weekend would have to be served during the strike week, I would say that it is unlikely, (but not impossible. )

Tory Rail Minister lies to the public about meeting Mick Whelan to discuss pay.

RDG trying to get the strikes called off for "possible talks about a framework for a deal..."

They must think AsLEF and RMT don't talk to each other and know this 'offer' is BS.

I've been thinking about why they made this 'offer'. I wonder if a GE will be called next week after the expected kicking in the local elections?

I think these fuckers will run their clock down and see the year out
