Train Operating CompaniesWhat are TOCS mate?
No coincidence that LNER is run by the govt and therefore wanted to show how the tough new law would beat the union. Got smacked back down by AsLEF. Meanwhile, Southeastern, also run by the govt, wanted to also force the MSL through but saw what happened to LNER and backed down.Looks like the minimum service levels have been shown up to the embarrassment they are.
LNER tried to enforce it so AsLEF announced a 5 day strike on there which cost the company more than not running trains on their strike day. So they withdrew their application.
I'll be on the picket line Saturday.Solidarity with those on strike today. I froze my extremities off on the picket line yesterday. Let's hope we get an end to this soon.
I will say hello to my AsLEF comrades on there's on Saturday as well.I'll be on the picket line Saturday.
A Dipper fan? Any shite that is wholly the responsibility of HMG is not their fault? The news agenda started with attacking the Tories that their minimum service levels legislation has been proven to be a failure. Had to laugh at the Tory MP blaming strikers for it.
