No we will not. A 10% increase in wages will not increase costs by anything like that. More like 3-4% for many industries. Wages are a component in costs but nothing like the whole of all costs. Anyone arguing the contrary is economically illiterate.
The price increases are caused by external factors such as energy and food costs and have bugger all to do with wage inflation.
Private sector wages are increasing to partially compensate for price increases, why should the public sector be denied the same treatment?
Do people want a society where the likes of nurses are forced to seek private sector jobs to make ends meet?
You're a bit clueless to how inflation actually works, it has nothing to do with costs it's all to do with demand and supply, more wages = more demand = higher inflation.
