Do you support the RMT?

A few years ago our ex chief (the coward of the Manchester bomb) threatened to sack and rehire the whole of the Manchester fire service if we did not accept new shift patterns, we would be on worse contracts etc etc, thanks to the union (it’s members) we told him bring it on. He backed down and then proceeded to lose the plot, culminating in him shitting out of decisions on 22/5/17, he soon got fucked off after that.

Fuckers like that exist in every profession. Bluffers, they get a degree or two and usually have masonic connections and are fast tracked to the top. Shitehouses of the highest order.

Sky news practically begging for a Labour transport minister to be sacked for the crime of supporting the striking workers.

Fucking disgraceful coverage from a so called impartial media company.

Supposed is the word. Look who owns the media.

He's described railway workers as "public servants".

Crazy thing is he's moaning that there's not been a day without a dispute without the threat of strike action, which presumably translates as "the unions and management sort out most disputes without a strike".

If they're public servants, then that must mean the country still owns the railways!

The 3 years of disputes was a bizarre claim - not sure it came across as he intended, but then he's a clueless idiot.

He is by trade a magic beans salesman so assumes we are all as thick as mince I would assume

Mate, I'm self employed, but if Truss tries to outlaw the ability to strike, I hope the whole nation comes together for a general strike.

They've already taken away some of our right of protest, and they're now threatening to take away our rights to strike, both things are fundamental to democracy.

They're tipping over from bumbling idiots into dangerous idealogue territory.

They've already started in on our right to protest so this just seems like the next logical step to them.

what happened to all those agency workers? I mean its not train drivers striking - its people who man ticket barriers - that isn't a skilled job surely? Anyone from those legions of agency workers sat about waiting could be scabbed - sorry dragged - in to fill roles.
