Do you support the RMT?

Why not? How come no one gives a fuck about non working class types of jobs? Why shouldn’t they be paid what they are getting? Is it too much for a working class man or woman to earn £40 for doing a job? People have been brainwashed into believing we can only earn so much. Try having a look at Accountants, marketing Managers, and all the others that pay more but never get mentioned. Only jobs done by working class people have to limit what they ought to get. When they start capping those wankers in the city getting millions in bonuses then we can face a look at people who keep our trains safe and moving.
They don’t even have to steer the train, easiest job in the world ;-) support it 100%

Bang on the money , sick and fucking tired of the gullible swallowing the shite printed in the right wing press about the majority having to make sacrifices while those at the top continuously take more and more .
It’s a humiliating situation to realise the country is bursting at the seams with utter thick cunts. Actually believing it’s the RMT fault for the situation. Oh and they get £40k a year I only get whatever so they are cunts. No fucking wonder the Tories get in power with a mentality so easily manipulated.

What are there actually striking for ?
The rail network under the guise of modernisation has had a 2Billion worth of funding cut by government so network rail has are suggesting improvememt and cost cutting measures, like closing ticket offices and having machines at every station instead, reducing staff on major stations and freezing or offering below inflations pay.

College Tutors have been on strike recently and Unison is considering balloting all members in all service sectors because of another miserly pay offer.

There could be a near general strike come autumn/winter if unions work together.

Yes and it’s those earning less that take the hit. When the fuck is England going to stop electing these utter cunts? It’s actually embarrassing being duped to vote for a party that don’t give a single fuck about anyone but their class.

That’s the problem. A country who keeps putting them in Number 10. Public sector, low paid pay the price. Why should we? Why not get off our fucking knees and say go fuck your self?

Exec pay and bonuses are back to pre crash levels and those at the top are raking it in, yet people are getting spoon fed news that the workers are being over demanding during a finacial crisis.

This countrys citizens are less informed than North Koreas, yet most lap it up

Seriously mate, how many kids actually get a train to school?

At my primary and secondary school nobody I knew got a train and I am pretty certain the overwhelming majority of school kids are at most a bus ride away from their school. My best mate actually moved house so he would fall under a schools catchment area, his kids were then a bus ride away.

Plenty where I live. Long gone are the days of kids having to go to their local state school like I did. I’d also add that when the bedroom tax or whatever it was called was being proposed the left where up in arms because of the handful of husbands and wives who had separate bedrooms due to disabilities. The very reason the left oppose policies is always down to the outlying people it impacts, never the majority. The hypocrisy is a bit sickening.

The one expression that riles me and which this government has used shamelessly is, ‘Now is not the right time for…’

High time interviewers started picking them up on it when they say it; it’s a horrible means to enforce government control and to stymie any debate and progress.

Grant Shapps stated on TV that the strike is not justified as nurses are paid less.

I am not even going to bother explaining why that is a stupid comment.
Well yeah, spend years screwing over nurses and teachers on wages, and then use those depressed wages to argue why some other group don't deserve their wages either.

And for the record, ever noticed how we only here about drivers' salaries? What about all of the other people who work on the rails who are striking? Are they all on over 50k too?

If they offered the £44,000 a year Schapps says we earn. A lot of railways workers will be happy with a 95% payrise.

Grant Schapp was really into the disinformation war this morning. Firstly, using those poor mites who seemingly get the train to school when we all know that there will be next to none. Then onto the drivers earning £60 grand, and when pulled up, said that it was a £44 grand median when we all know that the average is £31 grand. Still good but that means that the majority are on far less. One of the biggest whoppers were ‘The RMT walked out of negotiations to protest in London’ when the reality is that no negotiations are taking place as he is the one holding the purse strings at the moment

The RMT fella who came on later basically rubbished everything he said and made Schapp look an absolute clown. Problem is, the complicit medias narrative is already set and many won’t hear, or want to hear the Unions side.

As I said the tragedy is there are millions of working class who actually buy that garbage. Fucking twats and the reason the situation continues. Wake the fuck up and stop being an embarrassing ****. Would be my advice to those who are easily conned into believing the fault lies with the working class.

Because if everyone raises wages by 10% then we'll be getting inflation to be over 10% for another year. Vicious circle. Everyone needs to take a hit to stop what's happening. Either that or start a proper taxation of the wealthy but that's not going to happen whilst the tories are in.
I am afraid the lefties don’t understand basic Economics and inflation so your wasting your time.
Not quite sure what you mean by proper taxation.
If you mean effective rates of 98% when the Investment Income Surcharge was in place during the 1970’s when Mr Silly Billy was Chancellor it ain’t going to work in a modern economy where the rich can move their wealth to anywhere in the World.
