Do YOU think Mancini will be our manager next season?

4th or not it would be very tempting to keep mancini, it would show tremendous stability and at the same time stick 2 fingers up at football who doubt our integrity after the hughes sacking, we would also be the club that turned jose down, you can bet not many would do that.
thats how confident we are of success.
the thoughts of appointing anybody else other than jose is just laughable, mancini deserves his crack at a full season or two yet i can understand the jose thing, no one else though.

Alfie Noakes likes this.

PMSL at you losing your cool.

You have never grasped the relevance and uniqueness of the 6 month getout. I've told you before. It isn't a "performance review". And he isn't some untried manager like Pearce (the last manager i can remember having this trial period).

Oh and I have never said Mourinho was nailed on. I don't believe he is.

But my comments on Mancini and his future at City (that it isn't certain, that he may well be gone in summer) are not based on a hunch. They are based on solid information. It also appears that quite a few others are hearing the same thing.

What's your info based on, mate? Or are you just generally an angry man ;-)

By the uniqueness and relevance of the 6th month getout I will take you mean that Mancini has a 6 month contract and that City have no intention of honouring the 3.5 year deal he signed. In effect Mancini is a caretaker manager and has been from day one.

Well astonishingly enough that has been discussed and considered. There are several points against this approach. Firstly it is dishonest as the intent is to deceive the party signing the contract and/or the public in general. Secondly this approach is monumentally stupid. It is so stupid that I cannot see ADUG doing this. If they wanted Mancini as a caretaker manager then hire him on that basis just as Chelsea did with Hiddink. Given that you think no one at the club thinks Mancini will be around next year and Mancini is still doing a credible job then there is no downside to hiring him on a straight 6 months basis.

Being pragmatic and ruthless in business is fine. Being dishonest tends to leave you in big pile of unnecessary shit. I tend to the theory that ADUG are not this stupid or dishonest. If I am wrong then the loss is not mine.

So "nobody knows", but you feel qualified to quote something as "100%".

That tickled me.

sigh.

Very slowly now.

If we get fourth its 100% he is staying, if not THEN nobody knows.

I doubt you will ever get it no matter how many times it is repeated.

no he won't...... na na na na na

Probably the most sensible post on this thread :)

how the hell can the sacking of that idiot hughes ( who the new owners never appointed in the first place ) be used as evidence they would sack a sucessful manager who has the backing of a higher percentage of real fans than hughes ever did ?

Re: Do YOU think Mancini will be out manager next season?

Well, it's more articulate and less insulting than your previous couple of posts, Bob.

I presume you are talking about the Chelsea who didn't win the league or Champions League under Hiddink. Just checking.

I don't think the Shiekh is stupid. I think he is pretty ruthless in his pursuit of success for MCFC.

If you think that Manchester City or any football club is 100% honest with the press and/or public you are miles from the truth. Just cast your mind back to the Hughes sacking.

Anyway, let's wait until the summer and see what happens ;-)

thats just missing the point completely, have you ever thought Mancini may want to return home?
That Mancini is on a £1m bonus for getting 4th? not bad for 6 MONTHS skippy.
I want him to stay but he is more likely than ever to be gone at end of the season........

show your working out please.

How do you know he's on a million bonus?
Why is he more likely than ever to be gone?

These are empty statements with no foundation and serve only to undermine the club.
