Do YOU think Mancini will be our manager next season?

Re: Do YOU think Mancini will be out manager next season?

If mancini gets 4th then he does deserve a chance but everyone thought ranieri deserved more time at chelsea when he finished 2nd, all was soon forgotten when they romped to their first title in 50 years.

I like mancini but i'm pretty sure i would like mourinho as well.

PMSL at you losing your cool.

You have never grasped the relevance and uniqueness of the 6 month getout. I've told you before. It isn't a "performance review". And he isn't some untried manager like Pearce (the last manager i can remember having this trial period).

Oh and I have never said Mourinho was nailed on. I don't believe he is.

But my comments on Mancini and his future at City (that it isn't certain, that he may well be gone in summer) are not based on a hunch. They are based on solid information. It also appears that quite a few others are hearing the same thing.

What's your info based on, mate? Or are you just generally an angry man ;-)

No, i dont think he will be our manager next season.

Mourinho will be here i believe.

4th or not it would be very tempting to keep mancini, it would show tremendous stability and at the same time stick 2 fingers up at football who doubt our integrity after the hughes sacking, we would also be the club that turned jose down, you can bet not many would do that.
thats how confident we are of success.
the thoughts of appointing anybody else other than jose is just laughable, mancini deserves his crack at a full season or two yet i can understand the jose thing, no one else though.

Don't be idiotic. Of course I'm not comparing Pearce to Mancini - I'm comparing the situation. Do you all not understand that?

Think back. Were there many of us who DIDN'T want Pearce to be appointed to the position permanently at the time? Not really. But there were people who knew more about him than us who questioned his suitability. And would anyone now disagree we should have listened to them?
So you think we should pass on Mancini and move onto someone else?
No. I'm saying that if there are serious doubts about Mancini among the people who really matter, then we should be prepared to listen and take account of these. We watch games for 90 minutes a week. There are people who work closely with Mancini 7 days a week.

I'll say again, when Pearce took over, I was one of many of us calling for him to be given the job (he was only a temporary appointment initially) based on the performances we saw under him. Yet others who knew him better were arguing against that behind the scenes. They were right & we were wrong.

If we get fourth, Mancini will 100% be our maneger next season.

So "nobody knows", but you feel qualified to quote something as "100%".

That tickled me.

sigh.

Very slowly now.

If we get fourth its 100% he is staying, if not THEN nobody knows.

I doubt you will ever get it no matter how many times it is repeated.
