Tevez is a great player, yes he's scored roughly 60 goals in 80 games for us, however, those 60 goals were about all we scored in those 80 games, I'm exaggerating I know but....
This season we have started with a surge off quick fire attacking play, slick passing and goals galore. We put 4 past Swansea, 3 past Bolton (that should have been a minimum of 5) and 5 past Spurs, why would we look to change what we are doing? Mancini has obviously planned for life without Tevez, the signing of Dzeko when Tevez was top scorer, the addition of Aguero all point to one thing, Mancini sees life without Tevez, I for one am not unhappy with this. Don't get me wrong I love Tevez, I wish he could adapt to our new style of play but I doubt he can. Dzeko loves being here, the players obviously love him and love playing with him. I see Tevez now being used as a sub and in the less important games or to cover injury, until he leave, I think we have the best attacking options outside of Barcelona so I'm not gutted he's here, but I can't see him being here for long. I hope I really do that Tevez knuckles down, and does all he can to adapt and play regularly. I have not forgotten is past achievements but I see a City side so far looking hungrier than ever, and we look much stronger than last year. I have always been a Mancini fan and I hope people can see his grand plan coming to fruition, after all he did say it would take time, and low and behold it did, but I think we have peaked at the right time, unfortunately Tevez may have spat his dummy a little early to fully enjoy the success.
