De Rossi has been underwhelming to say the least for about two seasons now, buying him would be a calculated risk but we'd expect the old De Rossi back, not the half-arsed one of recent times that would be warming our bench.
Don't think we'll go for him anyway if Hargreaves stays fit.

I never said they start playing down the wings to circumvent De Jong, but there are many times you can clearly see they player couldn't be bothered trying to beat a pressing De Jong. Not always, though. It was more of a small point that you've stretched because you find it hard to argue against despite everyone seeing it, but you.Sabster said:I am sorry teams do not play down the wings to "circumvent" De Jong.
