Do you want Tevez to stay?

Re: Carlos tevez (mods we need a seperate tevez thread)

I'm livid, this was a new chapter in our history. Yes we were shite and outplayed. That didn't matter, what mattered was Manchester City were in The CL. This chapter has been blemished because a selfish, self observed mercenary decided that he was bigger than my club, he decided that his needs were greater than the manager, his team mates, the staff, the owner and most importantly us, the fans

Re: City Fans Don't Want Tevez

wouldn't have him rot in the reserves, I wouldn't have him anywhere near the team at all, causes more harm than good imo. Sign a contract with him that states we'll let him leave for free, if he never plays for an English club again.

-- Tue Sep 27, 2011 10:27 pm --

wouldn't have him rot in the reserves, I wouldn't have him anywhere near the team at all, causes more harm than good imo. Re: City Fans Don't Want Tevez

I am relieved that the selfish nature of Tevez is finally out in the open.

Earlier today, on the MEN site, I warned fellow City supporters to brace themselves for a concerted media campaign accusing the City management of ingratitude and portraying Tevez as the 'people's choice', a campaign that would seek to mimic the relentless pressure placed on Sergio Batista to include Tevez in the Argentine squad in the recent Copa America tournament. There have, of course, been indications of this campaign on Bluemoom with posters who first registered around the time it became clear that Tevez would not be leaving this summer and who have repeatedly urged that he start instead of Dzeko or instead of Aguero or instead of Nasri. Well it looks like Tevez has himself undermined that campaign.

At least we should now be spared journalists / commentators - besotted by Tevez - asking "surely Tevez will be starting against xxx?", "when will Tevez will be brought on?", "how can Mancini not start with someone who, as last year's leading scorer in the premier league, is ipso facto one of the best strikers in the world" -- yes, the same journalists and commentators who do not blink when Berbatov (the joint leading scorer in the premier league last season!) does not start even though Rooney and Hernandez are not available.

Re: Carlos tevez (mods we need a seperate tevez thread)

Not surprised its happen, a scumbag like Tevez was bound to use a high profile game like tonight to show the person he is, in some stupid attempt to act the victim.

This guy needs to placed on some kind of "gardening leave", suspend him from training, playing, leaving to another club. suspend his wages and let him rot till the end of his contract.

After this, no respectable club should touch him with a bargepole, he may as retire from football now.

Tevez and Kooratshit have already got rid of Cook. Looks like Mancini will be next.
Not a chance.
If anything, it has strengthened Roberto's position. The entire football planet reviles the premeditated actions of the gargoyle and his pimp tonight. A major own goal by them. The Dapper Don turns to Khaldoun, shugs and says 'I told you so about thees peasant'.
It will also galvanize the squad around the boss. We will be a long, long price to qualify from the group tomorrow. I'm whacking a ton on. Tonight could be pivotal.
Strangely enough this shit from Carlos has made me feel better. We played crap after they scored, was proper fed up, but I'm getting those old 2nd division etc blue memories back at the shit coming our way, "we're not really here.." they all hate us.. but we are City Super City from Maine Road...

I've had that confirmed!

You could see Zab was not happy with him when they showed the bench... Tevez was chipping away but Zab ignoring him

I so hope this is true

Texted from someone in the know at the Allianz... I so hope it's true as well. You could see Zab having words with him when it happened....

was this "someone" in the tunnel then?
