Send him to train with the reserves, don't play him in any reserve games though and leave him there for the rest of his contract. The club really needs to send out a message that this sort of behaviour will not be tolerated. If we sell him in the January window Tevez has got his wish, fuck him, don't let him get his own way. The club may lose out on a few million in a fee but thats a small price to pay.

I was thinking exactly the same. We are one of a few clubs who can afford to do this. The one thing that has kept me on board the Tevez train is that he has always given 100% on the pitch throughout the whole saga of him wanting to leave. After last night's stunt, he has lost the ability to play this card and any respect the fans might have had for him. I suggest he goes and takes a very long walk down a short plank. If the owners don't back Mancini on this it will send out a very dangerous message to these so called star players.

Finally, we have demonstrated so far this season that we don't need him, so let him stew at Carrington and don't let him near the first team or the stadium.

Personally I think Mancini was bang out of order by stating in his post-match interview that Tevez would never play for City again. Forgive me if I am wrong but it actually looked like Platt who was speaking to Tevez on the bench, not Mancini. In any event, there genuinely could have been a "lost in translation" scenario. These things are bound to happen with so many languages being spoken. Notice that Zabaleta was also irate. Would love to know why.

Zab was angry at something Mancini did or say.
But they cleared it out, it was a wrong and a misunderstanding on Mancini.
(He said so himself in the interview straight after)
My best guess as to the reason of Zabs being upset is that Mancini prolly thought Zab said or did something in tevez favour. But that was apparently not the case.
You can also see on the bench how tevez tries to talk to Zab, but he dont even aknowledge him.
