Does anyone else feel like this?

Just leaving anfield now feel rather deflated not with the football but with what I am now witnessing and have been for a while people I know who have followed city for years couldn’t get a ticket today yet I witnessed empty seats
Probably because these football sites couldn’t sell them on at inflated prices, tourists taking selfies all game which will only get worse and police treating us as scum. 1973 was my first game and I think this season will be my last can’t stomach it anymore it’s becoming a piss take now, I will always love the club but it’s becoming less attractive every week anybody who knows me knows I travel extensively all over Europe and England but I think my time’s coming soon to watch on the Firestick with a brew and sandwiches anyone else feel the same
I get this but dont believe you will be able to give up that easily. I could never give up its not every game you will be surrounded by phones in the air the entire game. Too many good people you will know and still yet to meet on a match day.I have around 40yrs watching city and wont forget leaving Anfield in the 80’s to a razor blade down my arm. It’s not all bad today just time’s change and we all get frustrated.Newcastle and Arsenal next and hopefully you are bouncing again.Take care and unless you can fill that void not watching City enjoy the journey.

I'm not doubting you mate but I'm genuinely surprised; I don't know any blues on high points who sell their tickets on.

I’m doubting him. It’s bullshit that hundreds of high pointers are selling on tickets. One or two. Probably. But hundreds? No chance.

You don’t get to 30,000 points by not fancying Liverpool away for the 21st time.

If you go away regularly, you see the same old faces, week after week, season after season, decade after decade. These blokes don’t suddenly not fancy it.

Can understand people feel the way they do about match day experience and tourists etc. Must admit I fucking hate it when some tosser films every set piece and attack on their phone! They watch more of the match through a fucking 4inch screen rather than lifting their eyes up and watching it live! Might as well watch it on TV if you're gonna do that! Fuck those people!
Live and let live, your blood pressure must be through the roof !!!

It's not a mystery, it's a secondary market, so eg for Dips away, there must have been 100+ blues with the required points who decided to make some money and sold their ticket for say £200. A few years ago I was sat next to some Japanese tourists for a Community Shield game at Wembley. I got talking to one who told me they had bought their tickets from a spiv for £100, face value on the day was around £30. In addition, we had thousands of unsold tickets but for some reason they were happy to spend the 100 on the day. So I don't think its the Club's fault just Blues on the make. I suppose if you've been to Klanfield 20 times it's no biggy to go 21 times.
Another one, who clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.
If the 100 random loyalty point holders, you talk about sell there Liverpool tickets, can you explain how the random 100 people who buy them are all sitting next to each other.
We all know where the tickets are coming from and it is not from the group you are suggesting.

Where then?

Manchester City Football Club out of the allocation that goes to Club partners.
Which includes travel companies who are provided with match tickets to sell as a package.
Exactly !!! Loads of garbage on this thread accusing blues with 30k points selling to touts which is nonsense.

The tickets being sold are coming from City. It’s easy for them to hide behind these ticket sites - but when they are flogging hundreds of them at inflated prices for home games and in the clubs good books they are getting a share of away tickets.

Throw in extras handed to other club partners and sponsors and that’s what you end up with. A Liverpool supporting employee of the month of Nissan getting to go to his first game at Anfield in the City end.

It stinks. Every legacy fan thats goes to away games sold down the river by the cunts running this shit show.

Football is going the way as gig ticket sales. A few years ago Livenation ( which owns Ticketmaster and many venues ) saw the cash they were missing out on to secondary sale sites Viagogo. Knowing what fans would pay changed the way the industry operates. Ticket prices doubled - Ticketmaster offering their own secondary sale option far easier than Viagogo - and for the biggest gigs introducing surge pricing where ticket prices at first point of sale go up with demand ( like hotel and airline prices ).

Check out the prices for the Eagles at the Co-op which vary between £150- £500.

It’s only going to get much worse !
