A Chinese family behind me. Mum dad and 3 kids. The youngest kid didn’t even watch the game, she sat down playing with her phone for the full match

Just leaving anfield now feel rather deflated not with the football but with what I am now witnessing and have been for a while people I know who have followed city for years couldn’t get a ticket today yet I witnessed empty seats
Probably because these football sites couldn’t sell them on at inflated prices, tourists taking selfies all game which will only get worse and police treating us as scum. 1973 was my first game and I think this season will be my last can’t stomach it anymore it’s becoming a piss take now, I will always love the club but it’s becoming less attractive every week anybody who knows me knows I travel extensively all over Europe and England but I think my time’s coming soon to watch on the Firestick with a brew and sandwiches anyone else feel the same

It’s not like that at home games so why not just Jack in the away matches if you’re not enjoying them. We’re in the middle of our greatest time ever - it’s to be treasured

Tourists are killing the game, owners aren't making it easier with poor ticket prices, the whole matchday experience isn't what it used to be. I only really get to the champs league games now, and the travel for me is a real ball ache leaving Chesterfield at 4pm, can take 3 hours if the traffic is really bad. Awaydays still look a good laugh pal, but sounded pretty crap today reading your account

Will be honest I was in AL6 and didn't witness any of this, police were helpful outside with blues looking for buses and srewards we friendly and joking with city fans on the way in and at half time

tourist wise was minimalwhere I was and tbh the home grown fans were dire today, the atmosphrere and away following of many in a manc accent was dire

The day of the takeover I was elated and dreamed of all the trophies to come, my more reserved wife said the same thing but added-we've sold our soul.
In hindsight she was more right than me, I love the club but hate the way they treat me.
