I enjoyed the (free) entertainment, but BDB killed the growing atmosphere.
I'm not having a go at him though, he personally gets a thumbs up for performing.
Any DJ knows you don't put that type of song(s) on if you want to whip up the crowd.
This was a celebration and was all about partying.
A lot of people there would have never of heard those songs before so wouldn't have got the connection.
All they would have seen/heard was a slow somber tune that put a damper on things.
"KISS" springs to mind. (Keep It Simple Stupid)
Upbeat and well known is all that was needed.
I suppose they will have do something different for each cup next year.
Do you think they will have three separate events or roll them into one? LOL!!!!
