Does kolarov and boateng coming back rock the boat?

Boyata didn' rock the boat. Besides, we've defended well all season, not just the last game or 2.

It's great to have a player like Zabs tho. Sure he flys in at times but he's a real pro and a fine one at that. Our modern day Gerard Wiekens :)

Having Jerome and Kolarov back will allow us the option of playing 2 upfront also.

It would be difficult for anyone , even kolarov or Boateng , to improve on Citys defensive display last Saturday , the back four did a very effective job in shutting out a top notch strike force .......... why fix what isn't broke , until it breaks?

It we be interesting to see how Bobby makes sure we're not vulnerable to counter-attacks once Kolarov's fit. Personally, i'd make it Barry's role to cover the left back area when potential dangers arise. You'd think it would come natural to him with him being left-footed. From seemingly being a weak link and certain to be replaced by Milner, Barry has now become an essential part of our starting 11. Fair play to him.

Managers get paid to fix things just before they break ;)

Jerome and Kolarov should, in theory, allow us to defend just as well but also improve our attacking play.

Kolarov is a good left back but will not make a big difference to our team. Boateng on the other hand is a superb athletic player that gives the opposition even more problems. When a fully fit Boateng is on the pitch you will notice the difference believe me.

A hundred times more likely that we'll up it a level when they come back rather than rock the boat. Kolarov and Boateng might be good at going forward but they're solid defenders, much better than Zab and Boyata who played against Chelsea. Might have beaten blackburn if we'd had these 2 and could have got something away to sudnerland. All if's and buts but the fact of the matter is that they are better players than the ones they'll be replacing and we'll have a better team which is more likely to win when they're in the team. Hopefully they will add another dimension to our attacking play

There will be suspensions and injuries as the season progresses, and the likes of Zab, who can play in a variety of positions will always be first choice to fill in when needed. Plus the Europa League offers squad players game time, and the players must have figured out Bobby's work ethics/rotation policies by now - so I don't think there will be any boat rocking problems.

I might be pushing the boat out, but, potentially, i think we have two of the best fullbacks going with these two.

Huge units, but quick. Both very comfortable on the ball, both like a tackle and both like to contribute going forward.

Usually fullback like; Evra, Cole, Sagna et al are all quick but slight of build. Others like Ivanovic or Corluka are big but not as mobile.

We've got two complete packages... we'll be a better team going forward and defending with these two in the side and i think they're a big part of Mancini's tactics.

Won't rock the boat at all.

They'll slot right in at full backs.

Both Zab and Boyata had great games on Saturday but they are not the long term solutions. Zab is a steady squad utility man and Boyata is a real prospect as a centre half.

And Zab wont through his toys out of his pram if dropped !!!
I bet the guy is a wonderful person to work with, probabaly a players player,if the squad were asked.

It can only be a good thing getting our new signings fit. Zab has done a great job as usual but he isn't a left back, also Kolarov will give us even more strength and height at set pieces.

I think you will find that Kolorov will be taking most of the set pieces.
