Does Silva lose the ball?

The right question for me would be "does Silva ever give boll/assist" his teammates. Talking about BOX . Someone mentioned on one of the other topics 6 assists this year , lousy number for a top midfielder or is he midfielder or forward ???? He handles the boll well but he likes it too much too.Grate for him, looks fancy, but not always good for team results !!!!!!! Now you can hang me :D !!!
You are joking. Your "stats" are totally, totally wrong, and if you actually WATCH a game, you'll see why he contributes so much to our attacking play. How many games have we won with him out of the side this season?

Here, his actual stats! He has 6 goals and 11 assists, 91% pass completion (the second highest in our team) and 54 shots to his name in his first season in a new team. That's pretty impressive for someone who wasn't even in the side for the first couple of months of the season.

Very impressive stats for his first season and he'll be better next year. If you check Modric's stats for the season Silva has eclipsed him.

he passed to a blackburn player on monday and i was shocked. so that tells me he hardly ever does.

sorry about lack of caps i am typing one handed due to beer in other hand :)

I think generally spanish players are drilled to not lose the ball...

Like another poster said, he lost it at Wembley but it turned into a goal eventually. I'm sure he meant it the little genius...

He came from spain with just one sim , david silva
He came to make us great again, david silva
and when his job with us was done and all the trophies we had won
we all called him david silva king of spain.

This should be definate song,

-- Thu Apr 28, 2011 10:29 pm --

He came from spain with just one sim , david silva

we are incredibly lucky to have him, what a player. He refused Barcelona to come to Manchester City. He would walk into Barca's 11 at this current time.

I remember seeing somewhere, that one of our players had 96% pass completion rate. I can't remember who it was, though!

I would say De Jong.......coiuld also be Barry as hes afraid of the ball and passes as quick as he can
Yes and sometimes if were really lucky he passes it to a team mate and not straight to the opposition or out of play!

;)
