lescott was our best player defending corners last night and when he was put on dunne, dunnie never got a sniff of a chanceTimperley_blue said:I've said it on here before and I'll say it again - I'm aware that people will disagree but Lescott is not good enough. He is weak in the air defensively, loses his man from set pieces regularly and is far too quick to go to ground. Centre half is our missing link; improve here and we will make even more serious progress.

Didsbury Dave said:No chance.
1)Bridge is playing excellently
2) Lescott is not a left back
totally agree with this, after a shaky start bridge is starting to look the part, quick and able to get up and down the flank aswell as defend.Blue_Blue said:Bridge had a great game yesterday he has been alot better this season, but its a good option

Just plain wrong, Lescott is quality mate. He is getting better and better so I don't think you are being fair.
