Just plain wrong, Lescott is quality mate. He is getting better and better so I don't think you are being fair.

I hope you're right and I'm proved wrong. But- on his arse, van Persie scores, wrong footed and West Ham score a perfectly good goal which fortunately for him was ruled out. Watch him carefully at set pieces - he loses his man too often and is very succeptible to the diagonal ball over the top. Toure is covering up his mistakes at the moment.

Thats a bit harsh, Van Persie's turn was superb and I can recall many good tackles he made, did a couple of goal saving challenges last night too. I agree he is struggling to pick up his man on set pieces but I think he shouldn't have a man and should be allowed to attack the ball, the zonal marking is a big fail.

bridge is not playing particularly well in my opinion!

That's a pretty bad opinion, sorry. He's been one of our best players this season without doubt.

I think Vinnie will be a great option for us once he's back to full match fitness. He provided a great platform for us last season, i feel Dejong is better in the anchor position, but VK is a proven centre back. I think moving Joleon to left back would be a great idea, due to the lack of defensive work Robbie gets through. This season we have been fantastic, but we do seem to lack an aerial presence. Shay, zab,Vinnie, toure,Lescott, barry,Stevie,Robbie,Bellamy,Tevez and Ade would be my starting lineup. The future is looking good,Cmon City!!!!

personally i think that is way too attacking. our defense would be well exposed

Bridge has been pretty solid recently imo, and a threat going forward too. Lescott is most vulnerable to being replaced by VK I think, if he doesn't start winning headers and improving his decision making that is. Could well be settling into a new team and will fix itself, but VK will be hungry to start and has proven quality.

Bridge has been great recently, and im not his biggest fan by a long way.
lescott has not settled well at all imo.
if i was to bring big bad vinny back it would be for lescott. toure seems to be cleaning up a lot of his messes!

wheres Ned?

Bridge has been our best defender by a country mile so far this season.

Bridge has done okay but he does get caught out of position a lot, he has benefited from Robbie being out as Bellers works harder but for me Lescott would be stronger defensively and would get forward too but more responsibly, the extra aerial presence of VK would also help the defence.

I don't think people actually realise how well Lescott did for Everton at Left back, he was pretty solid.

although quietly, i ve been a critic of both our fullbacks micha and wayne, i do think wayne especially, has picked up his game and micha also to a slightly lesser extent. lescott and toure are struggling a bit because of the unsettled defence and the fact that the fullbacks are our achilles heel. it will take a while to gel,

i think zab inplace of micha has been a step forward and it was good to see stevie come back better than he was before his injury, i also felt for martin petrov, being dropped after such a good performance that must hurt

I think we'd be better off putting Toure at rightback, than Lescott at leftback.

Cant see the back four changing; Bridge won't be dropped, he's been playing a lot better this season; Toure and Lescott look to be Hughes' first choice pairing, and i'd go with that; RB is the problem position for me, and Vinnie doesn't play there, although im sure he would beast that position.

Its definately another tough decision for Mr Hughes, and one i will be eagerly anticipating.
