Don't even think of leaving a pup or dog all day. Fucking cruel. If you have a garden and build it a kennel that's different, but don't do it otherwise. It's cruel and causes them anxiety.

People here in Oz tend to leave the dog in the back garden all day, not usually the house, but they still get bored to fuck and bark at everything.
It's a miserable life for any dog, left alone for 9 hours, inside or outside.

So I am not going to leave the puppy alone all day. My brother currently is living with me and as his university studies are online he will be home all day for the next 4 months. Also I plan to come back from my work every few hours to take the puppy out for a walk when my brother leaves.

Seems a pretty flexible job if you can go home every few hours. Could you take the dog to work with you?

Spayed. Getting used to it now, but she's still cheesed off she can't scratch her bits, can you blame her? I haven't got the time or the energy to deal with puppies and anyway, there's many a puppy in rescue homes the length and breadth of the country that need a loving keeper and family.
