Loads near me on Saturday were raising both their hands on the air, then doing a radio gaga style slow clap singing DOOO-KU..then it got faster. Utter shite it was tbh.
 
If Adam Johnson wasn't a nonce we could have nicked the one we used to sing when he played for us.
Jer-rem-ee Doku he plays in Blue and white Jer-rem-ee Doku he plays on left or right Jer-rem-ee Doku, makes the fullback look shite.

Love that. Would personally change line 5 and 6 to:

‘Step overs and griddys

In true old school Maine Road fashion there was a big group of blue kids who seemed to be at the match with their teachers. I think it was them who I could hear singing

'Oh Jeremy Doku.....(Seven Nation Army)' - as if he was Corbyn - in the second half. Not sure if that can be topped for simplicity or humour!
 
It occurred to me that "Jeremy Doku" has the same stress pattern as "Eleanor Rigby""
As in:
"Jeremy Doku
Tears down the wing in a flash and he lays on a goal...."

But I can't find a suitable rhyme for "goal"

Didn't like it for John as he's too cultured to be breaking ankles but seeing the heaps Doku is leaving defenders in with his skill thought it could be pinched. The du du du du du du bit would sound class in an away end.

I know it's crap but I am a FOC and don't know any better
 
And all the runs that Doku makes are winding.. and all the goals that Doku scores are blinding.. there are many full backs who would like to hunt him down,but they don't know how.. because maybe, you might be even better than Pele..and after all, you're feet are glued to the ball. Needs a bit work granted :)
