Aki trained with me under ronnie green, good bloke back in the day but became like the rest a bully, didnt have much time for him in the last few years, sad but just the reality of who he became.
Why the fuck he'd be in specs house after he's already tried to do him in years ago god only knows.

so your more from the frank lucas school then (O:

I knew you'd know the name! I was going to write 'like Denzil Washington in that film' but decided against it lol

Yeah, he'd be my role model.

Being a benevolent gangster appeals to both sides of my character. I might be onto something here...

The book american gangster is a truly brilliant read, and although the man is obviously a convicted murderer/drug importer you can't help but like the man....... is that wrong?

The book american gangster is a truly brilliant read, and although the man is obviously a convicted murderer/drug importer you can't help but like the man....... is that wrong?

It's a tricky one. It's kinda what underlines The Wire. All of the characters are in many ways horrible bastards yet most of them are likeable at the same time. I hated Marlowe initially but eventually his coldness won me over.

Same with the real life gangsters really. There's an undoubted romance to the whole thing yet at the same time there's a really grim and depressing element to the whole thing. Which is just one of the many reasons I couldn't operate in that world, I'm too forgiving ultimately.

I've had family members involved in lower level gang stuff, no faces stuff but street level stuff and I'm just not cut out for it. For a start it seems like hard work and I'm happier the less I'm doing and there's not much call for a peace loving, forgiving, stoned gangster yet. When there is though I'll be the fucking Don of the world :)
