Interesting that. I think a lot of the problem is that journalists are now in a race against randoms on twitter to be first to a story. This doesn't allow the time and space for quality research beyond the headline.

If my family and I catch the virus it is very very unlikely its from Cummings his wife or his daft in laws in Durham or in London.
But we could have got it from those stupid twats who have blatantly flouted the lockdown rules since day 1 and now use Cummings wrongdoings ages afterwards to excuse their couldn't give a toss mentality.
Others more likely to infect us are the happy clappers who yet again here and elsewhere stood in close groups.

There were some lads chatting outside our local shop yesterday. Not the brightest bunch - they were chatting about who they had been meeting up with, one having not been out anywhere, and one said:

"Now that guy went to Durham i'm doing whatever me".

If we have to go into lock down again then the authority is diminished.

One presumes he means Ludwig Wittgenstein whose great grandfather was a merchant. As for his grandfather Herman, Wikipedia says "In 1938, to escape Nazi racial laws and to be reclassified as half Jewish, his descendants claimed that Herman Christian was not the son of Moses Meyer Wittgenstein but rather the illegitimate offspring of a prince of the House of Waldeck."

I think more they're up against Sky, who have demonstrated for years that they want to be first rather than first and right.

The Howse piece doesn't seem to offer any suggestions on how or what he thinks needs doing to correct the situation. What could LK have done to make her tweet reasonable? The source was obviously Cummings or someone authorised, and it exposes that source as unreliable.
