Even for the USA it was a weird campaign from both sides, identity politics and virtue signaling with buckets of hate and vitriol thrown in must have confused the electorate over the pond. Will he win next time round? That depends on if the Democrats have learned a lesson from the way they run this campaign and of course the candidate they put forward.

Trump and the GOP have unveiled their tax 'reform' (it's a cut).

It's a tax cut for 'the workers and middle classes'. It isn't.

In no way do Trump and his fellow billionaires benefit. They do. Massively.

It will be as popular as the numerous Health Care bills they have been trying and failing to pass. Like Health care they will also try and pass the tax proposals via reconciliation in the Senate. Chances of doing so on the current proposals are slim imo.

Meanwhile Puerto Rico is still in crisis and parts of the US mainland are still trying to recover from the recent storms. What these people need right now is the boost of tax cuts for very rich folks. After all that is what Trump and the GOP is about now. Looking after the little people.
