My problem was I had become a minority in my own area. Half of East London had done the same. No shame in what I said whatsoever.

You keep saying this and it's wrong. You think half of east london moved because they had brown/foreign/asian people move in?
They moved out because their houses were worth a fortune so they cashed in and moved out to cheaper areas to retire. As has been the case for decades.
