I mentioned earlier in this thread that there is a tide of abuse you can justly hearl at Trump and point to his failed polices - focusing on a phone call with a grieving widow distracts all that away - we can’t no for sure on this and how he’s words were interpreted, she may have already hated him like we all do so the conversation would have been skewed from the start. If proven, then yes, I would hope that would be another nail in his coffin.

I think any right minded individual can only come to the conclusion that Trump acted like a **** not the grieving widow.

That's not really the point. The fact that Trump effectively called the war widow a liar and denied he said what he said is the problem. What he actually said was confirmed by everyone in the car and by Gen Kelly. It's quite true that the widow could have taken it the wrong way but all Trump had to do was apologise for unintentionally upsetting her but instead of that he did his usual and told some lies about it.
