I genuinely believe him. I read Kelly’s report on it tonight and I fail to see how a man making a sympathetic phone call can balls it up.

Granted, some of them are simple, but some of the Trump supporters I have met have been far from simple (Cal Tech & MIT Graduates), who I would have expected to see right through his bullshit. It is really strange the power he has over people.

I don't think I'll ever begin to understand US politics. I was out there working during the Primaries and it was as if people were being spoon-fed their opinion based on which TV network they chose to watch. They just seem to lap it up without question, which is strange for a nation founded on the freedoms of its citizens.

So it’s more likely that a grieving widow, her mother-in-law and the other occupants of the car made up a story that was not contradicted by Trump’s chief of staff than a proven serial liar was telling one more lie.
