Donald Trump doesn't seem to understand what Financial Aid IS, let alone what it is for.

I try to be fair to the man but he keeps doing really stupid things that make him seem like he doesn't understand how geopolitics works.

Threatening countries that receive US Aid is like threatening Scotland with the withdrawal of the pound.

He is an embarrassment, and the sycophants who are appeasing and enabling him should be ashamed of themselves. I may well save thousands from this latest tax bill, but it is an absolutely dishonest, immoral piece of legislation that will raid the national coffers and dump the money into the pockets of corporations and billionaires. Me and my kids will spend the rest of our lives trying to recover from this presidency.

He doesnt understand how politics works at all. Geopolitics is way beyond him but he doesnt care about that because people in other countries do not vote for him. Foreigners are just a source of more lies for him to use and sell at home

It goes deeper than that, the entire post war structure of international institutions and liberal interventionism is seen by Trump and his acolytes as nothing more than creeping socialism, a means of restricting the USA from using the full gamut of her power both military and economic and more importantly distorting the natural order of things, where unfettered great powers do what they want and Corporations are free to do as they please.

It is an attempt to return the world to where it was before the 1st World War.
 
So the FBI have supposedly foiled a terror attack and there’s zip from Donnie.

Anyone would think he’s not lavishing praise on them because he wants to discredit Mr Mueller and his investigation.

Or am I being a tad cynical?!?
