Orrin Hatch, who chaired the senate committee in charge of the bill, was just named Utahn of the year.

This article is absolutely not praising him but describes "His utter lack of integrity that rises from his unquenchable thirst for power." But the old fool took to Twitter to say he was "Grateful for this Christmas honor".

Five months ago I would have agreed but the tide is turning. How many Dumb Donald voters voted for Jones in Alabama?

He's never going to lose a certain portion of the electorate but there were a lot of semi-reasonable republicans who voted for him who are now regretting it. Factor in the tax increase on the racist/morons and that will be more than enough to beat him. It was a razor thin margin in the swing states that he won so the Twitter tantrums and pissing off of our allies will be the end of him. If I were a betting man I'd guess that he doesn't run for reelection because he won't be able to handle the embarrassment of getting creamed.

I think he's more popular than the media give him credit for, and I suspect you'll be right. The Dems seem intent on fighting themselves than put up a plausible candidate against him. After all they elected President George W. Gump twice.
