Great success for Kim and Trump.
For Kim, he's got credibility on the world stage. The Americans have already announced stopping joint exercises with SK and said before the summit that there was no longer any need for "maximum pressure" in relation to sanctions and all he's had to do in return is reiterate what he said a month ago that he will commit "to work towards complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula". Nothing about "complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement" which was what the US insisted on and nothing on timescales, Great result for him.
For Trump, he's got his photo opportunity. He's got enough positive headlines to keep his base happy and to impress the gullible, which may result in a few more votes in the mid terms.
For the rest of the world, it's a nothing burger.
