Sorry mate but that’s bollocks. Same could be said of any non essential spend such as what is spent on tickets to the football or booze or beak.

Football, sniff etc is an established pass time for many. This specifically holds non of the enjoyment of those. If it is political there must be better ways of venting your frustration. If for example they hate how he treats migrants from Mexico and his wall they could be more specific having someone who looks young sat in a cage or something, that would make an impact. Making a balloon thing will be water off a ducks back to him. I just don't see the point in it really.

Of course people spend their money how they like and i am as wasteful as the next person, this just felt like a futile joke that slightly takes away from the severity of some of his policies.

It does almost feel though as if their is some worldwide effort to have the most original way of making fun of Trump, it is almost a new pass time in it's self. They could have a ranking system with the top person being "The top Trump ****" or similar :-D

A quick snippet for anyone interested regarding guns in the USA...

Since Trump has been President gun sales have dropped of the scale. As you can imagine gun owners are very comfortable with Trump in power so do not see the need to stockpile etc for fear of laws taking them away or at least banning their sale. Obama due to how he was perceived by the hard right types sent sales through the roof, he was the usa gun industries golden goose.

One company saw sales go from 35m to 3.5m, Smith & Wesson got sold earlier this year for peanuts.

Of course the lowering of violent crime helps but yeah Trump the pro gun chap is killing that industry or at least stopped a lot of money flowing in to it.
