She said her mother had told her she had some Native American heritage in her family. She never EVER claimed she was “full blown ‘injun’” (with thanks to Dances with Wolves), but everyone runs off half cocked with the Trump version of the story and it becomes a derogatory campaign rally point and she gets a nickname.

She was challenged by the Orange Joke to do a DNA test. She did it. It showed she was what she had said all along. Trump had said he would donate $1M to charity. He backed out....just like he did with all his first responder charity money he was supposed to donate, until he was called on it. Trump Foundation, anyone?!?!

And, I hope against hope Elizabeth Warren is NOT the Democratic nominee, because she is the last thing Democrats need in the White House or as parry leader. She needs to do some work in the Senate, work to get into the majority and take the Chair of one of the Finance and Oversight committees. At best, she is VP material, and would be the first female VP is the Dems win, so she’d have that going for her!

Notice, Trump has already started making fun of the potential Dem candidates, with the most pointed comments and ridicule reserved for those he thinks are the current front runners. I don’t think the nominee will be her or Booker. If he is smart, he won’t run and won’t throw his support behind anyone until there is a nominee. He needs to wash the stink of his mayoral term off him in the Senate before he is electable to anything.

Two years out and it is hard to know who will break through, but I hope to God someone strong gets through what will be a punishing nomination process, as they pick each other apart and give Trump even more ammo for the general in Nov ‘20! Hopefully, by then, people will have woken from their slumbers, we will have a recession on our hands and people will have realized “that’s just Trump being Trump” is the kind of answer we give to why a 3 year old is acting up, not an excuse for a President who repeatedly says, “I’m not a baby!” In response to questions that have nothing to do with whether he is a baby or not!

It's a bit heavy going, but it basically says that the Republican State legislators have tilted the tables and made it more difficult for certain people to vote. They won't allow people without a street address on their ID: Predominantly rural dwellers and Native American's who live on reservations - who historically vote heavily Democratic. Considering that state was won by a tiny margin, it really isn't difficult to see what is going on here.

It's supposed to be a democracy.

The issue is whether their ID has an address on it not whether they have an address.
Everyone in the UK needs an address to register.
