Because he’s loaded the judiciary with Trump sycophants so everyone knows that any legal action would go nowhere and would end up benefitting him because when it inevitably gets thrown out he’ll have more fuel for his witch hunt claims which plays well to his moronic supporters who believe every word of shite that emanates from his fat cakehole. He’s the ultimate Teflon Don.

Indeed.

Many haven’t realised this is actually Mitch “My Face Looks Like a Rotting Melon” McConnell’s greatest political achievement. More than acquitting Trump, blocking all Democratic led legislation, passing the incredibly destructive wealth redistribution reform, and so on.

The stacking of federal courts at every level with incompetent, ultra-conservative, and — in many cases — sycophantic judges is what will enable ever more problematic (and unconstitutional) actions from the Trump admin and Republicans even when/if Trump leaves office, not to mention stifling progressive legislation and policy put forward by the Democrats even if they retake control of Congress and the White House.

They’ll be able to do it for years to come.
