Could be because CNN last night played a recording of the "We shall fight on the beaches ... we will never surrender" speech to show how a real leader gets the people to face danger and come together to defeat it. Trump likes words like that but doesn't understand he can never live up to them. At least Maggie the woman Thatcher made a passable imitation of Churchill during the Falklands war, but this daft clown couldn't get near him.

Cancelling the game would have been a massive show of unity and really sent a message that would be heard. Millions of Americans don't watch any sports but the NFL, it would have been devastating to them for them to have walked off. Between fans, gamblers, sponsors and fantasy players it would have shaken America. I don't think there would be a next time if they did that but now it's going to keep happening.
 
During the DNC Dumb Donald ridiculed the Democrats for omitting "Under God" from our national anthem (even though they didn't and video proves he was lying). Now today he himself omitted it.

I'm guessing evangelicals will give him a pass on it because he's such a devout man...

Him swaying like that makes him look like a petulant teenager.

Loved the pics of him and Melania earlier observing a minutes silence for those killed on 9/11 from the corridor outside the bogs at the back of AF1 - very edifying.
