The crowd booed the moment of silence for racial equality.

They weren't kneeling during the anthem so they couldn't have been "disrespecting the troops", so what was their reason for being upset about this?

Could be because CNN last night played a recording of the "We shall fight on the beaches ... we will never surrender" speech to show how a real leader gets the people to face danger and come together to defeat it. Trump likes words like that but doesn't understand he can never live up to them. At least Maggie the woman Thatcher made a passable imitation of Churchill during the Falklands war, but this daft clown couldn't get near him.

There has always been racial undercurrent of tension in certain areas and communities, but it seems the Trump era has brought a lot of it to the surface. This should not be acceptable in any society that dares to call itself civilised.

The organisers should have called the game off on the spot, and the NFL should have made a statement strongly condemning any form of racism or disrespect.
