They will. All about turn-out from the opposition in the states that matter in 2020, assuming he runs again. While we wait, the mid-terms can do him some major damage if the Democrats get control of the House and (less likely) the Senate. But the wages of the left playing revenge politics in 19 and 20 will be a better chance for the right to galvanize. Democrats have to keep the incendiary rhetoric under control, especially until there's a useful candidate to take up the mantle against him, which (IMO) there isn't yet. Just get out the vote: that's job 1 for the left.
