It's fairly standard for any legal agent to want proof of instructions from their clients.

I suppose the difference (purposefully omitted to make it seem like the recording was the issue) is that most times would have the client aware that it's being recorded. In this case, the implication from Trumpy is that he didn't know (yeah, right!).

They have single party consent in New York, he was under no obligation to make Trump aware. Usually it's 2 party/all parties consent. From my own experience I won't do anything outside of day to day stuff at work without being asked to in an email, that way the executive involved can't develop selective amnesia if it goes tits up.

We work like that too generally. If the client doesn't write it, we'll write to them stating what we're doing.

I went down a rabbit hole on twitter yesterday...holy shit. The 'conservatives' believe the clintons are 'suiciding' people and have 'suicided' over 30 people so far. Anthony Bourdain was apparently the latest to be 'suicided' as he was critical of the Clintons and was going to expose something on them.. It is a fucking scary place the trump fanatics occupy.
