That fucking weirdo from Facebook just announced they would not fact check Trump like Twitter did.
 
Just put something in the Jacinda Ardern thread about how she's been ending her speeches with a simple "Be strong, be kind." NZ has a far more inspirational leader than the U.S. Can you imagine Trump using those two words together in the same breath? He probably thinks they're opposites.

Why are the markets recovering when people are out of work?

It just shows the stock market isn't tied to the job market; it's a complete lie.
 
Im watching the two dudes now, seems its time to kiss and make up
Ross S has just apologised for his attitude, to one of ,if not the best, economic analyst any where
Its the potential for recovery that the market anticipates,and as companies get stronger more jobs will come back,but im not an expert I watch and learn

If he hasn't closed Twitter down I expect a rant.

Stock market going up bigly! Fake news says jobless figure is high. Can't be. I just made a million bucks.

Saying he's lying is fine under the first amendment but shutting down media outlets isn't.

Where's that Baby Trump rant again?

Seriously, what can he do? Close down the only place that has carried his thousands of lies unfiltered?

Then there's Hong Kong... let's help their dispute with China by treating them as part of China. (Crimea is really part of Russia ...) I'm not sure the Taiwanese will be too happy either if it's that easy to say somewhere belongs to China.

Valuing stocks is difficult in normal times, it is generally a process of relating value to other values or ratios of earnings etc. All earnings data is now historic so that is of little use and values are all over the place so everyone is in the dark. It will all come into the light when ernings data from Q2 starts to come through. Until then anyone's guess is as good as yours.

I'll be surprised if he silences them. More like the opposite in that certain social media platforms will be specifically prohibited from censoring the POTUS. If that's the case he will have to stop using @RealDonaldTrump, and start using @POTUS for his Twitter lies rants.

That will be interesting because @POTUS is classed official Presidential communication and subject to public record, although anything on Twitter is there for all to see anyway. The only difference is that with the @POTUS account there is no way he can claim he was hacked.

It is possibly something that analysts are overlooking. Common sense tells you that economic prosperity and the job market are very much linked.
